TOWNHALL MEETING .
People from various parts of the Municipality converged on Wednesday 15th May 2024 at Akuapem North Municipal Assembly’s Conference Hall to participate in a Town Hall Meeting organized by the Assembly. Town Hall Meetings are gatherings of a group of people to deliberate on social issues to facilitate development.
The MCE of the Assembly Hon. Barima Awuah Sarpong Asiedu Larbi thanked all stakeholders for responding swiftly upon a short notice. He was for the opinion that Assemblies are the highest authorities that have the mandate by law to solve community challenges through its own mobilized resources, government and donor supports. He said the Assembly’s door is wide open so all and sundry should walk through it to seek help.
The Budget officer Mad. Marian Serwaa Mensah took time to take the participants through Financial Management, Sources of the Assembly’s fundings as well as projects and activities of the Assembly in regard to the various departments and units. Participants were given time to suggest and pose questions which were answered by the Coordinating Director and some head of Departments and Units.
