1ST QUARTER ASSEMBLY MEETING

Honourable Assembly Members, Government appointees, heads of decentralized departments/ units and stakeholders on Thursday 6th february,2024 converged at the Municipal Assembly’s new furbished auditorium in the 1st quarter General Assembly Meeting to discuss issues of development and reaffirm members commitment and responsibilities entrusted by the constituents.

In addition, presentations of Right to Information, Zipline group Ltd and DESKSOL consul all took turns to educate the house,

The Hon. MCE Barima Awuah Sarpong Asiedu Larbi delivered his sessional address and subsequently presented the Executive Committee Report to the house. Issues emanating from the report were thoroughly discussed. These include; designated points for showcasing print advertisement and information dissemination, Exhibition to showcase Akuapem North manufactured products, Software lease agreement, Grading and reshaping of bad roads within the municipality, Security before 2024 general election, formation of neighbourhood watchdog committees, Acquiring small processing equipment for farmers among many others.
