WORLD CHILD LABOUR DAY CELEBRATED AT ADAWSO

The Department of Social Welfare and Community Development on Tuesday 23rd April,2024 championed the course of the World Child Labour Day celebration at Adawso. The main idea of the department was to create awareness of the molestation, suppression and denying of children their rights in society.

The department earlier educated the public at a mini-durbar and later continue at Odomankoman Community Radio to enlighten the populace on child labour. The Social Development team was led by Madam Angelina Nargatey the head of Social Welfare and Community Development Department

Present at the programme include pupils and teachers from Adawso Presby JHS, Adawso R.C JHS, Staff from Social Welfare and Community Development, ISD News Desk and other community groups.
